I can't tell what I like more, the frankly mystifying emojis at the bottom, or that 183 people thought this was a smart thing to say.

It's really bad that the Mizzou folks were making headway, but then some of them have decided that equating the two situations is helpful.
The threats faced by the Mizzou guys were quite a few notches above GG-threat/SWAT spam and had credible threats, but are far, FAR lower than full-on suicide bombers and full theatres of people being slaughtered.

What's worse is that some try to pull the whole "Where were you when xx was happening here, but now that it's happening there, it matters" thing, when that is a non-statement that recursively leads to "Why weren't you caring for the starving children in third world country :smug:"

e: The emoji reads "I'm side-eyeing you cafe-loving frogs"
(Frogs is a euphemism for the french)

Favorites might have a contingent of "This is what liberals believe" posters

e2: I should actually add that I understand that this is the whole "See, this tragedy is so much worse than yours. Learn your place scrub" thing that happens so often. People believe they only have time to focus on one issue and all others get pushed to the wayside. What the guys in this tweet are trying to do is not let their struggle get preempted by the current crisis, and I can understand, and even sympathize with that.
It's the same way Haiti got hit by a life-wrecking hurricane, then Japan got hit by an even bigger one. Even without immediately comparing the two magnitudes, Japan would and did receive more notice because it's more popular.

That I can understand, but when your lede is "Show Eyes" it's kind of insane.
Also, angels is a bad example choice. I imagine a stern portrait, similar to the one in ghostbusters, would have the "eyes" and encourage that "ethical behavior" that comes with the presence of authority.

I don't get it personally, I've dated guys from 5'7" to 6'5" and just do not really give a gently caress whether he's taller than me or not, so it might be a gender thing?

I think the answer is "heels"
The stereotype explanation I've heard, whether true or not, is that she still wants to be feminine(i.e. not look like big bird) while wearing heels, so that requires the guy to be at least a certain amount taller than she.

Side note: did this happen after 9/11? I was in elementary school but I don't remember anyone calling for the extermination of Islam like they are now. Has social media and the echo chambers it brings whipped everyone into a frenzy? What are the chances it gets out of control and we all end murdering each other?

Yes
I too was in elementary school, but consider the kids tv programs around that time. If you ever watched "The Proud Family", there was a family that had their house vandalized and spray-painted with "Go back to Iraq". The people were Pakistani. I probably worded that more antagonistically than I should have. It's just that, if there's something that should really harm your faith in humanity, it would be people saying extremely vile things at pure fluff videos. All political things will come with the risk of people making vile comments, whether in print or talk radio or online commentary. Any man out there who is unsure of the merits of MGTOW probably doesn't fully understand what they're dealing with when a woman aborts a relationship. These men need an education on women in general.

The best (shocking) illustration of what women really are capable of is pornography -- specifically MMF porn where a woman is getting double-teamed. It's a metaphor for how modern women deal with men in relationships.

Realize that every woman you ever meet is just like the porn star in that split roast. Your girlfriends past and present, even your wife (if she's your ex wife you probably already know this to be true).

When -- not if -- she leaves you there will already be another man in her life, emotionally and physically. You are not any more special or necessary to her than the two forgettable males featured in that scene. The sooner you figure that out the better off you will be knowing what to expect and that you need to be prepared for it.

Pornography should educate men about why they should remain detached from women in general. In her production, she uses her body to get what she wants and men are just disposable props to get her off and get her paid. Being nice or a good provider doesn't earn you any special treatment. You're the new guy or the soon to be ex boyfriend/husband. You're paying for it either way.

Question: Do MGTOW or MRAs or w/e also use this lens when viewing it from the women's perspective? That is, in the same way "you"(fictional man) shouldn't get attached, she also shouldn't get attached because you're just using her for sex, and all relationships should be detached things?
