I loved Samurai Jack when it was really trying to be something different, like that excellent Shinobi episode that was posted earlier. When Jack decided to go experimental or just straight up odd, the entire show really shined, even the goofy stuff like "Jack turns into a chicken" episode.

Lewtoons is pretty cool. It may just be that "I have a type" and Chad is very much that type but I really enjoy his videos and the quality that goes into them. Also, his "I watch every animated movie of 2016" was a good way to keep me informed of some of the movies I had no reason to see, like the Ice Age or Norm of the North stuff. The A.V club has its review for Rock Dog up and it seems pretty dire. Much like any review site, take it with a grain of salt but it looks a bit skippable. I will watch just about anything with J.K Simmons in it so this may go by as something half watched on Netflix while I fool about. The review does mentioned that "There is a scene where he trudges around in the rain to Radiohead’s “No Surprises,” so that is certainly something.

Just the opposite for me. I got the part in the first game when it asked me to find all 101 Dalmations and thought "Ehh...no."

I finished the second game simply because there was a point in the game when I realized the entire plot was insane, like genuinely crazy, fever dream anime nonsense and I was intrigued to see how far down the rabbit hole it would go. The answer was really really far. It helped that I thought the combat was fun. The Disney stuff is cool with the Lion King and Tron areas being memorable for me.

I'd probably just LP it these days but it was fun to play.

Both my observing teacher and classroom instruction teacher loved it. I got a great score on the lesson plan. Its great and lord knows I've watched it enough times since then.

That said, do we really need sexy time Zootopia or dark, gritty dead character Zootopia? Its so bafflingly to me that everyone just wants to take the material into "adult" areas that feels so out of place. It was a fun city with really fun characters that grow in smart ways with a good message while still admittedly the entire concept its tackling is complex.

I love the gay couple neighbors don't get me wrong, but jesus, lets keep it PG. Its better for the story or any story worth telling with its inevitable sequel.

I like James Cameron and Avatar is ok. Its a tech demo in which his Colonial Marines fight cat-people aliens. I've put it on for background noise for cleaning/painting miniatures every blue moon.

I don't have high hopes for the sequels cause...yeesh. Why?

In actual animation stuff, I found this in the FanArt a couple of days ago. Its done by the same person who did that rad Star Wars animation clip. Its R-Type themed with music by someone wishing they were Carpenter Brut. It think its pretty neato.
