So here's a breakdown for those unaware regarding the PS1-PSP-PS2 titles:

All games are in their "native" versions with no meaningful game enhancements/rebuilding, so expect weird controls, lack of analog stick support and stuff like that.

Each PS1 game has two empty memory cards that are unique for that game, one in each memory card slot. You can't manage their contents directly but can do whatever the in-game system allows you to do.

PS1 and PSP games have separate PS4 and PS5 versions, which have separate saves and trophies (which can't be transferred between versions) but are otherwise indistinguishable from each-other. None of these games can be streamed from the cloud, they are download only.

I believe Worms World Party and Worms Armageddon are their PAL versions but this isn't really noticeable. Note that the game's do support 16x9 screens in their options so go and change this and then activate "Wide Zoom" in the emulator's settings.

I believe all other PS1 games are their US NTSC versions.

"subscription only" games are only playable if you have the PS+ Premium (highest tier) subscription, you can't buy them a-la-carte or free upgrade with owning them on PS3/PSP/Vita, but you can do this with the other titles (I can mostly confirm for free upgrades, and all other titles have a "just buy them" price).

At the moment the only PSP game is echochrome.

For PS2 they are all technically PS4 games. All are purchaseable a-la-carte, but don't free upgrade from the PS3 digital versions. A few games are buggy on a PS5 with glitchy graphics, but you can bypass this by streaming these games from the cloud instead. Here's the full list:

Continuing the tradition of "doing unpaid work for Sony", here are some updates regarding PS+ Premium I was able to dig up.

Shadow Warrior 3 it seems is pretty certainly leaving the service today (in about an hour in North America).
Also leaving this month is the PS3 game Syberia, leaving July 19th.

The PC app for streaming appears to have been fixed, and now no longer shows games which aren't actually available for streaming. The retro header still says "PS1, PSP and PS2 games" despite only having PS2 games but whatever.

We're going to make this work. You can play wireless with ds4windows. It's typically used for tricking Windows into thinking a dualshock/sense is an Xbox controller, but it can also emulate a DS4 for times where that's convenient. The nice thing is that it still works over bluetooth. You can play PS5 games, and the touchpad works, but there's no rumble at all and none of the unique dualsense features work. Tested by playing Returnal for a bit.

Install the latest release at https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases

Connect your dualsense to windows and then get ds4windows to recognize it. Guides can be found on google

Create a controller profile that has emulated controller (under the other tab) set to DS4 and then apply that profile to your controller. You might also need to check touchpad output to make sure it's pass thru instead of controlling the mouse.

Fire up remote play. It should recognize your emulated DS4 and just work.

Pee ahead of time, it's gonna be tempting to let er rip instead of getting out

Using the Dualsense with Steam wired works fine like every time, but I've always had terrible luck getting it to work with like Xbox Gamepass games, or some Epic Games Store games, but using that bluetooth dongle has worked literally every time I've tried it. And for all I know it doesn't even have to be that specific Bluetooth dongle, I just initially bought that one so I could use my dualshock with my switch and then found that it was particularly useful for getting playstation controllers to work with finnicky PC games.

edit: oh and I can confirm it works with Remote Play on PC, I somehow skipped over that when reading your post.

The cable included with all PS5s is HDMI 2.1 compliant.

For other loose cables there's no way to tell without plugging it in and seeing. The only proper "tester" for this that anyone might have access to is if they have one of the higher-end Denon receivers from 2020 (the ones that are over $1000 and I think claim to support 8K).

If your cable isn't up to snuff you will have issues like video going black for a few seconds or flickering randomly, stuff like that.

I think I forgot to mention this but I got the Inzone H7 and it's a quality headset. I think in terms of comfort and sound quality it's 9.5/10, just a hair below the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless (10/10), while having the added benefit of doing the smooth transition that the Pulse 3D does, so if you turn it on and off it will automatically shift where audio is coming from on your PS5, whereas with the Steelseries the sound will always default to sending to the headphone receiver (it can't tell if the headset is on or not) and you have to manually shift to TV output in software.

The other night I muddled through and remembered how to get to Ebrietas and do the Alfred quest, as well as getting the church pick. I thought getting the rakuyo would pop my Old Hunters Weapons trophy, but I think I have to do it in one save file, not across multiple. (My original save has everything except Rakuyo).

Something I really love about the Ebrietas area is realising that it is pretty much the Maria area from the Old Hunters. Looking up and spotting that clock again was a moment for me.

I think I have done nearly everything in the game. Only three bosses to go and then I have recompleted Bloodborne.

And the other important question I forgot to ask! I understand the game has had significant tweaks to it's graphics setting in multiple patches. Anyone know what's the go to nowadays? I remember reading the thread in launch week and lot's of people then said that the 30 FPS highest quality mode did look substantially better if you don't mind 30FPS. But I believe the many patches have been aimed at improving the performance mode? I also think there is a new hybrid mode?
