I prefer subs over dubs as a rule, not necessarily due to quality but because when I consume any kind of media I want what I experience to be as close to the original as possible. Dubs are further removed from the original than subs.

Ccs posted:To me Big O had the most disappointing ending. They got a second season after so long to finally wrap things up and then...it still didn't in any satisfying way. Late on this but I think Big O's ending is super cool and good. Much prefer what they did over a more standard ending.

It had a really unique aesthetic for the time, and dor an Edutainment game, it was actually really fun. There's a reason Jumpstart never changed the 3rd grade version, whereas they changed the other grade versions fairly frequently. I had this dubbed in swedish. the part at the end of every "episode" where you actually save the robot took like several minutes to load each time.
