If you have enough Iso you can level the character up for a free heal.

Yeah, it seems like if you don't play for 24 hours you'll get a random cover or hero points or something. I got an iron man cover first, then 100 hero points last night.

Yeah, I'm hovering around #200 in the Thornament, and I don't really want another Hawkguy cover but I might be able to hit 1000 points for another Thor cover so I'm conflicted.

Your defending team is the last team used in that Event. You have a different defending team per Event.

Argh, 2nd place with <1 minute left in hood lightning, take a 14 point fight to close out, and finish top 8. Wish you could see final leaderboards, cause when I looked at it with 2 minutes left, the guy in 3rd was 15 points behind me. At least I got the two hood skills that matter.

I find it odd that Grey Widow has two powers involving green gems but her gem strengths are purple blue black. She's the only 3 power character I'm aware of whose gem strengths don't match the power colors.

Assuming its exactly like the first time it was run, there is no rubberbanding, and new missions appear every other day, replacing old ones.

edit: Although now that I've run through the missions, I do seem to be getting slightly more points than I remember from the first time.

Yeah, people are already farming the first day repeatables. Doing every mission once was enough to get me to #74, getting 1-3 is going to be impossible.

The only thing to really use the red for is to set up match 4/5s or break urgent enemy countdown tiles. Using boosted IM40/Hawkguy, boosted grey widow, and the hood has made the hunt super easy for me so far. I also don't see the point in three levels of repeatable mission that all give the same reward points.

The strike tile bonus is added after the photon blast damage is calculated, not on each red tile. I just did 1590 from 9 red tiles, 5 of which were strike tiles (234+119*9+57*5).

Looks like the main event is unbracketed, and the 50 million is how many points to unlock hulk. The side events are brackets of 2000, and I haven't noticed any rubberbanding point values yet.

Save up your ap and kill him in one turn. Or keep him permastunned with spidey, or unload on him after you stun him with storm classic/hawkguy/black widow/etc.

I wish they'd remove the cost reduction from any ability that has reduced cost on levelup, it would go a long way towards breaking the thor/wolverine/spidey/rag mix and match teams. The original IM35 had cost reduction on his powers that made him better than the two stars on release to the point where I didn't switch to Thor until IM35 lost his cost reduction.

They were saying "if we had increased Rag's red to cost 11 ap at level 1 so that the reduction on levelup made it cost 6 ap at level 5 it would be just like Thor's red. Instead, we made it cost 6 ap at all levels."

Ability cost reductions are something that either every skill should have, or no skills should have.
Before the skill rank/level rework, there was no reason to use Thor over IM35 because IM35's original skills had AP reduction along with % damage bonus on milestone rankups, and they both had the same level cap due to having 3 powers. That patch also included nerfs to IM35 to remove his AP reduction. Thor losing his cost reduction will make Rag's red better than his again. I would love to be able to use a team like IM40/Hood/Grey widow, but there's no point when Thor/Wolverine/OBW are as efficient as they are.

For their initial level, yes. My base level 30 X-force wolverine has 19/17/15 as his highest damage, as does my level 30 IM35. 30 Hood is 18/16/14 which is close enough. My pile of 2 and 3 stars at level 50 (bullseye, grey widow, moonstone, hulk, doom) do the same (+-1) damage with their highest match colors as well.

If it was an isolated glitch now and then, I'd have more sympathy. But daily rewards have been broken for more than a week, Wolverpatch going live in the first place was an error, they still haven't fixed the occasional 'NO EVENTS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE' or 'here, have the PREVIOUS version of the event' loading glitches

I just got my 90 day green hulk reward, and I've never seen any of those happen on iOS.

Okay, looks like they've re-weighted the damage based on the colour flow he can cause. Red feeds into yellow feeds into green. Red being the weakest attack now, yellow, midtier with green being the finale teamkilling strike. That's a pretty huge shakeup for thor.
At level 85, new 5 red is 1011 damage (down from 1113), 5 yellow is 723 damage (down from 2225). Glad I have Ares, even though we don't get to use him for some of the PvE stuff.
