I'm kinda afraid of how hosed up i'm gonna get from infused condiments. I dump loads of mustard on/in pretty much everything. I'm waiting for my brother to buy some land in Maine and then I'm building a shed out off to the side away from stuff. It will be the beginning of me adding on over time to make a nice little spot to live. Just need enough room for a table, bed, stove, and a bit of floor space. Then everytime I go out I can build a new room onto it. Mostly like gonna be a small summer cabin to start and over time I'll get it to where it's all wired up with running water and stuff. Each room being independently posted into the ground and just butted against each other with external walls pressed together and basically a 'port' framed for the doorway. Free to me so I just gotta chuck money into building mats and I can get the money and some material from clearing trees. This isn't exactly BYOB, but it'll be my get away that I can't be bothered by anyone and in a state that sells pretty much anything with THC added(my edible consumption will be nice out there). And since I will have a partial residency I can grow 12 plants, he's gonna have to do a bit of care for them when I'm not around tho. Gonna work on compressing and extracting in free time while brewing and see if I can make a nicely balanced heavy beer that also drops a nice mid high, a few might be overboard if I get it right, but the idea is like a stein of beer and someone should be light-medium on both buzzes. What the actual gently caress is the reason to use imperial for everything besides booze? every liquid is loving sold by oz until you get to the liquor section and the poo poo is metric. I don't mind metric, but ounce is a better way to appreciate the level of hosed up one gets from booze. miles work better for distances related to driving, km works good for understanding perspectively how long poo poo is. those both have good uses and are kinda hosed around. having written the algebraic expression to figure out how much peen i was knocking into a chick based on variables(very drunk and wondered how many miles I'd pushed and needed a baseline to work from) then turning it to computer code, i'd have very much rather worked metric because then the translations from miles, feet, and inches would have been easier(maybe i'll rewrite it metric actually, that might be worth doing but as a dumb person i can't loving know how many cms poo poo is or adjust for difference,still might be more useful to people that use metric). I could share shell or ruby versions if anyone is interested. but really the point is how loving useless it is knowing I have 3/4 a loving litre of booze and not knowing how many shots it is because they are loving imperially measured. also, gently caress metric. the weight is based on a chunk of something in a vault in france and the liquid is based on weight afaik so thats arbitrary altho i think imperial would equally be since its based on metric. at least distance is observable. and if we are gonna talk about fractions of grams then surely elevation comes into play... gently caress, i might need to nap.

Is there a thread somewhere for expected spoilers or like spoilers on stuff that's way old? I like trolling people with spoilers that was obviously gonna be the outcome. Like spoiling a Rom-Com by telling people they end up together or a super hero movie by letting them know the hero wins. Secondly, I kinda feel like spoilers for old movies should be reapplied at some point in time. At a certain point movies hit the spot that new people rarely see them and so they shouldn't be given info. after 2 years I think spoiling is less of an issue because people would have seen the movie if it really was a big deal, but I don't tell people anything about movies(I like people being fully blind going in) for 80's movies or some 90's and older that I know they haven't seen. I'm 770 posts behind and not in the Sometime somewhere I'm gonna post a long rear end thread for all of this stuff, kuz it sucks being too broke for a lawyer and having to do all this poo poo just to get to get equal rights. One thing I learned is if in a state like Iowa and ya have a kid with someone that's lovely a lot of the time, one should keep the kid from them kuz the state doesn't wanna do fuckall... Downside if you're the good parent and the dude for some places kuz iowa would rather let methhead moms have their kid in a rehab facility than the kid be in a normal home with their dad. Anyways, I'm gonna kill in court and I've already got a better deal than she has with her other kids(she should have stuck to trashin' when not watching children) so I'm just more and more looking like I'm not the dickhead(I really am not, I just pissed her off because I only paid attention to the boy and didn't care to be a part of her stupid lifestyle of arguing and lying to her friends for attention).
