According to the collection number, Amonkhet has 25 tokens (and emblems). MM 2017 has 21.

lol that Renewed Faith is an uncommon. Looks completely unplayable unless there's some real good build-arounds that care about cycling. (fingers crossed that there are)

Renewed Faith was playable last time it was in Standard, even in non-Slide/Rift decks.

Playable, yes. Uncommon pickable? Will depend on the rest of the set.

Oh, limited! With no build-arounds I'd guess it goes 5-7th? Depends on the speed of the format, sometimes there will be nothing better to do on turn 2.

She actually looked it, in the art on Liliana of the Veil. I guess she's been spending too much time in the dark on Innistrad and lost her tan, and got a nose job.

How are the tokens being printed? Is it going to be random and awful like checklist cards, or only 1 embalm card per booster so you always get the token?

Probably going to be distributed like regular tokens, completely at random. That's why they have the punch card thing, because this set has a billion things to track.

Probably less than 0.01% of the total players of MtG care or want to build the very best deck ever. Most folks are just making a deck with cool goblins because it's fun to play.

I still hold that the best Magic you will ever play will be the decks you build out of a pool of miscellaneous junk cards with friends also building out of that pool. Where Hypnotic Specter is king and you don't actually understand how Frozen Shade works.

The only reason Legacy is "diverse" is because there hasn't been a pro level format and no good players have been motivated to break it.

Yeah those are cool, but I wouldn't use them at anything but FNM/casual. Even then, you're adding a new element to the game, where it's suddenly the dice's "fault" for being wrong because someone forgot to update the dice, rather than a player just thinking "it was a 3/4 last turn, then he played and cracked a fetch". It's a similar problem to people who insist on putting a die on 1 to indicate that their Chandra that they just played used her +1. What are we going to do when she goes below her starting loyalty?

Man I like the idea of this card but it's so bad at blocking that it's hard to slot it into a deck.

I feel like it'd be better as a 3/5 than a 5/3.
