I've been thinking of a thread where Arf and Endorph both drew a comic that were effectively the exact same thing and posted within minutes of one another. It was in a goldmine thread and I'm not sure which, it may have been after KM was shown to be a puppeteer or it was when BnR started having its controversies. Arf quoting Endorph (who posted their comic first) and going "Yo WTF" was great

The reason I asked when The Troubles happened was cause I remember back in 2017 when Lowtax banned some LPers and a group of them all self banned in retaliation and made their own forum. Then right after Jeff got the forums one of them went and invoked The Troubles as to why they wouldn't come back. Its surreal seeing "Do they still let the shittier subforums harass people" from users who left 2-3 years before the blowup even happened. I remember an LP mod challenge where the person being challenged was asleep and it was a challenge where someone else could do the challenge and decide the fate of the poster. So someone did it within half an hour, the person woke up and went "wtf" and the goon who won the challenge went "Now you have to be my cocommentator" Don't think that actually went anywhere after that though. I think that ended mod challenges in LP until the great one, GaminGo, graced the subforum with his presence.
