It's genuinely crazier then that. Spiffo basically pushed her into having threesomes with their male friends "to show her off" and she eventually caught feelings for one of them and realized she didn't like having sex with Spiffo, she wasn't really attracted to him, and ended up getting "too serious" with the other guy and Spiffo had a meltdown over it.
